Born on January 5th, 1989 in Dallas, Texas, Jamie soon moved to upstate New York where she was raised. For as long as she can remember she has been active. At the young age of 5 Jamie got involved in Gymnastics. Throughout her elementary and middle school years she competed in gymnastics. Throughout middle school and high school she played volleyball, track and field, and was on the cheer leading squad. It wasn’t until the end of high school that she caught the fitness bug! Jamie moved to the big apple in 2008 to pursue a career in fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She found herself three years later graduated with a degree in Fashion Design, numerous awards in the figure competition circuit, and a personal training certification with ACE. In 2009 Jamie placed first in the Figure Tall Division in New York City and continued to place top three at her next three shows before entering her first NPC show (Easterns 2011) where she placed top five. Since then Jamie continued her competition career at numerous competitions including the 2012 NPC Easterns where she placed 2nd which qualified her for Nationals. While pursuing her figure career, Jamie also had begun her journey as a personal trainer. In 2012, Jamie began personal training clients at David Barton Gym – Astor Place. While still competiting and personal training, she also currently teaches spinning and weight training classes. Jamie is passionate about cooking and sharing her clean recipes with clients and friends, and spends her free time creating original, healthy meals that fit her lifestyle and fitness goals, and wants to do the same for you!
