Jamie’s Personal Training Philosophy:

“I love my job! I have trained clients of all ages. And believe that everyone is different! There is not one set program that will work for everyone. Catering to an individual is what I specialize in. Each client has different goals, wants and limitations. Personal training has allowed me to help people love their bodies and instill a positive goal physically for themselves and their bodies. A healthy and strong body is the framework to a healthy and happy mindset. Not only do I love helping people attain their goals (physically), but I also strive to help individuals achieve a healthy lifestyle over all. You have to build slowly towards making lifestyle changes. I believe that forming small habits over time is key to successfully change my clients lifestyles for the future. Changing your life is a journey and something that is going to take time. I constantly preach on consistency! The three most important elements to achieving your goals are consistency, hard work and discipline. If it was easy everyone would do it! You have to have a strategy and make S.M.A.R.T goal setting a priority. Fitness goals are something that take a long time, and in this business you really have to trust that you’re being led down the right path to success because time is the true test.”



Simply put, Jamie is the best. I have seen more progress in my body training with Jamie in one year than I have training by myself for the six years prior. From the beginning Jamie listened to my fitness goals and assessed my previous injuries. She is 100% results driven while being mindful of your everyday life by setting realistic and attainable goals. Jamie setup  personalized exercise and food programs for me that support balance through macro counting instead of a “diet” and food restrictions. Sticking to these programs has made it easier for me to achieve my goals of leaning out and building muscle. With the support of Jamie I am lifting more weight than I ever imagined and seeing changes in my body that I’ve been waiting years for. She is intuitive and encouraging, knowing exactly when to increase weight. I am excited to continue training with Jamie and can’t wait to see my progress continue.

3sfJamie has been my personal trainer at David Barton Gym for the past six months and I couldn’t be happier with her as she has helped me improve dramatically. When I first started with Jamie, I expressed interest in possibly competing in an NPC Bikini Competition one day. Jamie was extremely supportive, encouraging, and helped me to get on track immediately.  Not only did she help me inside the gym during our personal training sessions, but she also helped me create the right meal plan for my goals and always made herself available to answer any questions I had. Working with Jamie over the past six months has given me tremendous results and I truly believe I couldn’t have done it without her. 12 “The first thing Jamie asked me was what my fitness goal was. Not how many pounds I wanted to lose or something like that. With my fitness goals on my mind, like perfecting pull ups, or getting a stronger lower body for dance Jamie helped educate me on the best practices in the gym for what I was trying to accomplish. A few months into our training sessions I suddenly injured my foot dancing, and had to have surgery. Jamie was always in constant contact with me encouraging me and giving me guidelines for working out outside of the gym while non weight bearing. Still on the road to recovery Jamie and I continued personal training back in the gym and she even would come to the pool with me to practice walking and getting my cardio back. Jamie has continued as my personal trainer throughout recovery and has gone above and beyond as a coach, inspiration, and friend. I couldn’t be happier with my results and with my progress over the last 9 months, and I credit all of that to Jamie.”
