So, I found a fun fall recipe by Shock Top that I wanted to change and make into a healthy version!


Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat Sweet Potato Chowder


2 packets of chicken stock, or 4 cans- 64oz total

1 onion (chopped)

10 slices of Turkey Bacon  (cooked on stove top to crispy)

4 chicken breast diced

2 16 oz bottles of Shock Top Pumpkin Wheat Beer

4 Medium Sweet Potatoes

6-8 large Carrots (chopped)

1 tsp Black Pepper & Salt


Bring the chicken stock to a simmer on the stove and dump in the diced onions, and chicken breast. Add in cooked sweet  potatoes (boiled or par cooked in the microwave) and the raw chopped up carrots. Simmer for 1 hour, and add in salt and pepper. Finally add in the Wheat beer,and cooked turkey bacon and simmer for another hour and half!
